Pizza and Portwine is a perfect way to start this years celebration around PortWineDay. After an early flight out of Copenhagen for me, we arrived to Porto before lunch. We went to the IVDP (officiel Portwine Institute and our host) where we should have this lunch.

In a time where Portwine is still struggling with an ‘old man’s image’ is this a nice and modern approach to set the scene for a few informal days in the land of Portwine. The next couple of days will be in the oldest demarked wine region of the world: The Douro.
